iTunes App Round Up Part 1

I have an iPod touch. But its getting to the point where I have hardly any songs and plenty of apps, here is a round up of some of them.

Fruit Ninja
Price: $1.19
This game is entirely about slicing pieces of fruit that are thrown up at you. There are three modes: Classic, where you have three lives and you lose a life every time you 'drop' a piece of fruit. However you gain a life for every 100 pieces of fruit you slice. There are also bombs that when you slice, you lose instantly
Zen Mode: You have 90 seconds to slice as many pieces of fruit as you can, no bombs, no lives.
Arcade Mode: You have 60 seconds to slice as many pieces of fruit as you can, there are bombs, but they only take 10 points from your total score. The main objective of this mode is to slice the 'special bananas' that give you powerups.
This is an amazing casual game, however I find slicing fruit a bit tedious after a while.

Infinity Blade
Price: 7.99
Created by Epic Games of Gears Of War fame, Infinity Blade brings epic monsters, gear collection and stunning visuals. However, it also brings repetitiveness and the remarkable ability to drain my iPod battery in about an hour and a half. The basis is that you play through a castle, fighting various monsters as you go. When you get to the final boss. You cannot defeat him on your first play through. He kills you and you have to start at the beginning of the castle, you play through the game about 4 more times until finally you beat him. This game is repetitive and annoying, and the price is just a deal breaker for me.
4/10

One Single Life
Price: Free
This game is epic, despite being amazingly simple. You have one single life, when you die, you have to download it again to try again. You touch the screen once to run, and again to jump over large gaps. Its very pressure-inducing and terrifying the first time you play through.
